Homegrown Release

NOW BREWING IN BALLARD

With our new 10-barrel system up and running (and Dan, our new Brewer, at the helm) we’re excited to announce even more new BrewHouse news … the HomeGrown Ballard Series!

Our small-batch HomeGrown ales are not only brewed for the local community, they’re brewed with local ingredients found in and around Washington state. From hop farmers in Yakima, to barley farmers in Skagit and oyster farmers, coffee roasters, and more.

The Tri-County IPA, the first in our HomeGrown Ballard series, came right in time for Seattle Beer Week. Named for the three Washington counties where we sourced ingredients: Citra hops from Perrault Farms in Yakima County; Red Wheat, Munich, and 2-Row malts from Skagit Valley Malting in Skagit County; and the freshiest of fresh water from our Ballard TapRoom in King County. A true trifecta! It’s a smooth-operatin’ IPA with a nice wheatly-esque-ish-ness, brewed for Ballard and Beyond!

Be on the lookout for more releases in the HomeGrown Series, available at the Lagunitas Ballard TapRoom & Beer Sanctuary and at select locations around Seattle.
