Another January, another pledge for an alcohol-free month. We have all been there. Yes, that includes those of us who work at breweries (in fact, maybe especially those of us who work at breweries!)

Crisp, zingy, and hoppily refreshing. This sparkling beverage is made using everything Lagunitas knows about hops. Chock-full of Citra, Equinox, and Centennial hops, for a big splash of flavor that’s surprisingly fruity.
Hoppy Refresher is a zippy and zingy highly carbonated dry-hopped sparkling water. We added a pinch of brewer’s yeast to biotransformate the hops and pull out terpenes (AKA aroma compounds) of bubblegum, lime, lemon, tangerine, and a bit of pine.
Sparkling water? NA seltzer? IPA-inspired Refresher? However you see this clear beverage, we view it as a fresh take on an old tradition … A variation on a theme of 25+ years of edgy brewing at the edge of brewing. Massively dry-hopped like other Lagunitas brews, but without the alcohol, carbs, cals, or gluten. Whoa.
Beer math on ABV (Alcohol By Volume) is pretty straightforward… the Higher the ABV, the more alcohol in the beer. No rocket science necessary.
Lots of classic “C” hop (Citra, Cascade, Centennial, Chinook) and orange & grapefruit notes
The way the different hops work together here has Mango leading the aroma charge and melding nicely with the Citrus for a pleasant tropical flare.
A unique depth comes from the use of sulfur compounds (it may not sound good but it adds the yummy magic), layering in with the hop fruitiness to paint a full picture of Hoppy Refreshment. Bubbly and satisfying.
