GRAPHIC DESIGNER

The Graphic Designer is responsible for developing and maintaining all Lagunitas creative through digital media, print advertising, promotional materials, event collateral and packaging. Some of the main job responsibilities are to ensure creative consistency across all consumer touch points while executing against the brand strategy and manage project workflow process to ensure all creative deliverables are completed efficiently and on-time.

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or directly related field; 3-5 years of experience at an agency or in-house creative department; be proficient in InDesign / Photoshop / Illustrator; be familiar with print production; have experience developing assets for social media platforms. Experience designing packaging and a basic understanding of CSS is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
Required to sit for long periods of time using computer; occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; work environment consists of usual office conditions and a moderate noise level; travel less than 10% per year.

INTEGRATED CREATIVE MANAGER

Collaborate with the creative team and marketing department to develop and execute consumer marketing programs that fit the framework of the Lagunitas marketing strategy and leverage the company’s strengths in Events, Donations, Public Relations, Advertising, Digital and Retail Marketing.

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or equivalent; a minimum of 5 years demonstrated success in developing and executing PR strategies and programs; a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in marketing communications in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry or in a creative role on the agency side; strong communication skills, time management and sense of urgency; ability to multi-task and handle several competing initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines; a proven track record of bringing innovative ideas to life; and have a passion for Lagunitas and the craft beer industry.

LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Job Duties:
The Logisitics Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and facilitation of traffic details surrounding the movement of goods throughout North America. This position will complete accurate, timely scheduling and dispatch of shipments, re-routing freight and consolidating loads, to meet distributor demands and maximize savings. The Logisitics Coordinator processes transit requests and provides up-to-date tracking information, statistical and inventory reporting and actively addresses issues with movement of goods, inventory or order discrepancies utilizing transportation provider benchmark system and internal tracking systems. This position also maintains accurate record keeping, processes bills of lading and reviews overall performance from transportation services. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 1 year prior Logistics experience, ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays and overtime, and have strong organizational, customer service and Microsoft Office skills.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, reach, twist, turn and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally;

FLEET MANAGER

Job Duties:
Oversee day-to-day operations of Lagunitas transportation team, including fleet maintenance, monthly reporting, status of internal purchase orders and oversight of staff (hiring, scheduling, training, review/ approval of time cards, etc.). The Fleet Manager would also be responsible for driving equipment requiring Class A license, to achieve safe and timely fulfillment of customer orders and consistent, timely delivery of requested raw materials for manufacturing and packaging lines.
Must have: Complete and up-to-date knowledge of state and federal transportation regulations, including Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations, state safety and applicable motor vehicle regulations, state trucking regulations and Department of Transportation Laws (DOT); Ability to accurately calculate load arrival times; experience assessing impact of weather on travel time; Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Office (Excel in particular); Ability to create and maintain an accurate record-keeping system; Ability to prioritize – understanding what is the single most important task at any given moment, and able to think on one’s feet and make decisions quickly; Willing to listen in positive manner to drivers, office personnel, management, state and federal regulators and their concerns; capable of distinguishing problems versus complaints and able to problem-solve; Works well under pressure; Effective communication skills; High School Diploma (Bachelor Degree preferred, but not required).

ELECTRICIAN

Job Duties:
The Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance to production equipment with focus on keeping our new, state of the art brewing and packaging facility at peak operational performance and efficiency, always considering safety and quality as top priorities. Some of the primary duties includes installing and maintaining electric motors, control cabinets, motor starters, drives, wiring, sensors, switches, and general electric/electronic devices; Troubleshooting and maintaining control systems, HMI’s (PanelView), programmable logic controllers (Allen Bradley, Siemens), Variable Frequency Drives, and power distribution systems. Maintains and calibrates instrumentation equipment (Endress + Huaser) & troubleshoots and maintains industrial process control networks and components.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of industrial electrical experience in the food or beverage industry; and experience with trouble shooting and basic programming of automated equipment control platforms (i.e., Allen- Bradley, Siemens PCS7, Rockwell Automation). Brewing or high speed carbonated beverage packaging experience strongly preferred. Ability to understand and troubleshoot fiber optics and telephone lines is a plus.

And here’s qualifications:
Must have a minimum 5 years of industrial pipefitter experience in the food or beverage industry, experience with precision cutting, fitting and welding with layout and assembly, proficiency in blue print reading, layout, fixture preparation, MIG, TIG, sanitary stainless steel pipe welding, and plasma cutting, experience working with stainless steel, carbon steel, and copper piping, ability to complete basic electrical and mechanical maintenance, and the ability to read schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals. Applicants must be able to complete sanitary stainless steel pipe welding. Brewing or high speed carbonated beverage packaging experience is strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds, climb a ladder, stand, walk, lift, and bend for majority of work schedule and tolerate summer/winter temperature conditions in Production Environment.

MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Job Duties:
The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance to production equipment with focus on keeping our new, state of the art brewing and packaging facility at peak operational performance and efficiency, always considering safety and quality as top priorities. Some of the primary duties includes installing and maintaining pumps, gearboxes, shafts, bearings, bushings, sprockets, sheaves, belts, and general mechanical equipment. Perform precision alignment of pumps, motors, gearboxes, sprockets, and sheaves and troubleshooting and maintaining pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of industrial mechanical experience in the food or beverage industry, brewing or high speed carbonated beverage packaging experience strongly preferred; experience with troubleshooting and maintaining pneumatic systems, air compressors, hydraulic systems, mechanical power, pumps, gearboxes, valves, heat exchangers, and mechanical components; ability to complete basic electrical maintenance; welding experience preferred (MIG, TIG, Arc and Sanitary along with Torch and Plasma); ability to read schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals; Ability to use precision measuring and alignment tools; understanding of shop equipment (mill, lathe, grinder, bend, break, shear, and press); experience completing preventive maintenance activities; and be results driven, proactive, able to work effectively individually and within a team.

STATIONARY ENGINEER

Job Duties:
The Stationary Engineer (Boiler Operator/Mechanic) will perform maintenance to production equipment with focus on keeping our new, state of the art brewing and packaging facility at peak operational performance and efficiency, always considering safety and quality as top priorities. Some of the primary duties includes operating and maintaining Trance Chillers, CleaverBrooks Boilers, Atlas Copco Compressors and Carrier roof mounted HVAC units; maintaining brewing and packaging equipment; and installing and maintaining electric motors, control cabinets, motor starters, drives, wiring, sensors, switches, and general electric/electronic devices.
Qualified candidates must be a licensed Chicago Stationary Engineer. Other qualifications are: must have 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in the food or beverage industry or 2 year technical degree plus 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in the food or beverage industry, brewing or high speed carbonated beverage packaging experience strongly preferred; experience with troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems; ability to read schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals; ability to use precision measuring equipment and special tools; and have experience completing preventive maintenance activities.
