The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and implementing design solutions that meet product and marketing strategies from concept to completion. You will design for all brand channels including packaging, events, retail, print advertising, promotional materials and digital media.

Be creative: You understand the power of brand and design and when and where to use big ideas. You have good knowledge of how to execute across multiple brand touchpoints and how to collaborate with a cross-functional team to get this done. You will work with the Creative team to come up with innovative design ideas for the Lagunitas brand. Responsibilities include:
- Concept and design of packaging (labels, carriers etc).
- Design for all brand channels including events, retail, digital media and taprooms.
- Collaborate with Integrated Creative team to design for integrated programs.
- Liaise with project managers to ensure meeting brief objectives and deadlines.
- Interact with outside vendors, including printers and label manufacturers, on multiple projects. Attend press checks.
Be a team player: Collaborate with fellow designers and project managers. Listen to others to solve creative challenges and take direction when needed. Be an active participant in meetings.
Be resourceful: We are a small, busy team. Our creative output is disproportionate to our size. We do this by being nimble problem solvers and resourceful. Work smart. You are a good multi-tasker, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
A minimum of 5 years of design experience working on CPG brands at an agency or in-house creative department. Good strategic thinker, good branding knowledge. A strong portfolio demonstrating packaging and brand projects and a track record of bringing ideas to life. Proficient in Creative Suite - InDesign / Photoshop / Illustrator. Designing for digital media a plus. Good print production knowledge, ability to prepare files for print and ensure quality of printed materials. Ability to multi-task and handle several competing initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency. Passion for Lagunitas and the craft beer industry. A keen eye for trends, typography and attention to detail. Results-driven focus and tenacious work ethic, with the drive, resolve, and urgency to do “whatever it takes” to accomplish specific goals. Good communication skills, ability to collaborate and prioritize. Love of dogs is optional, but tolerance of dogs is mandatory.
