The Creative Content Lead is responsible for content creation for Lagunitas social channels. Part designer, part in-house journalist, you will seek out and create stories to turn into editorial content pieces for brand social channels - both micro weekly postings and for larger brand initiatives. You know how to use words, images and video to educate, entertain and engage on social media and further develop the distinct Lagunitas brand personality for social channels. Reports to Head of Brand Development.

You have deep understanding of the ever-evolving world of social media and how to authentically build a brand following. You understand how to use data to inform creative choices but do not use it in place of good instincts and trying new ideas.
Be creative: You understand the world of social media and how to uncover ideas that will spark great content. You know how to bring people along in your thinking and are always in ‘idea’ mode. You will work with the Head of Brand Development and the Digital Marketing Director to inform strategy and the digital, graphic and integrated teams to come up with innovative ideas and manage day-to-day creative requirements. Responsibilities include: Lead designer for content creation. Manage the content development process from end-to-end working with both internal and external resources. Ideate, design and write content pieces ranging from short, quick and timely to content that is part of larger integrated programs. Input into editorial calendar based on the digital strategy and business priorities.

5+ years experience creating and producing stories across multiple mediums, ideally for content savvy brand. Strong strategic thinker and creative maker. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Suite and video editing software. Knowledge of how to interpret data to inform ideas. Great portfolio demonstrating comprehensive understanding of building a brand through various editorial content and a track record of publishing successful brand content consistently. Passion for Lagunitas and the craft beer industry. Natural curiosity to seek out stories and generate ideas. Focus and tenacious work ethic, with the drive, resolve, and urgency to do “whatever it takes” to accomplish specific goals. Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to collaborate and prioritize. Ability to multi-task and handle several competing initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency. Proactively looks for latest trends in design and technology and utilizes them where appropriate. Stays up to date with content and media trends, utilizes them where appropriate for brand. Love of dogs is optional, but tolerance of dogs is mandatory.
