Identify, promote, and cultivate relationships with the Lagunitas community through internal communications, media relations, and consumer affairs activity. Support the Director of Communications in executing a PR strategy that aligns with and expands marketing initiatives.
Manage the consumer comments and complaints program and communicate effectively with consumers to ensure high quality, consistent and timely responses to email, phone, and letter correspondence. Document all contacts, actions, and responses in customer database. Effectively relay customer issues and concerns to appropriate department. Distribute monthly reports summarizing the prior months’ activity to management. Partner with Director of Communications to implement an internal communications strategy that expands, maintains, and supports the Lagunitas culture. Coordinate employee engagement activities with HR department. Represent Lagunitas to media and partners on Petaluma/Azusa brewery visits as needed. Consolidate and distribute quarterly media highlights and recap reports.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications or equivalent preferred. A minimum of 2 years of marketing experience at a high-profile lifestyle brand or in a PR agency setting. Ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives and prioritize projects. Ability to work independently, without a lot of oversight. Solid understanding of the Lagunitas voice and values. Passion for Lagunitas, the craft beer industry, and public relations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and public speaking experience. Team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees as necessary. Demonstrated capacity to cultivate strong relationships within the organization.
