This position facilitates food service and provides clearing and cleaning duties to ensure efficiency within the Lagunitas Taproom and Beer Sanctuary. Our Food Runners deliver food to tables, are responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling, sets up the service window area and is the liaison between the kitchen and the service staff to ensure quality and accuracy of orders. The Generalist is knowledgeable in all areas of Human Resources, serving as the consultant for employee benefit programs, recruitment and other Human Resource related topics.
Some of the primary duties include facilitating new employee orientations, new hire and transfer onboarding process, and assisting with benefit enrollment. Other responsibilities include: assisting in the recruitment effort for Lagunitas staff, partnering with managers to post openings and schedule interviews; Utilizing the HRIS, performance management and applicant tracking system for data entry and daily, weekly and monthly report generation; Assisting with performance management process, on-site employee relations, and exit interviews as necessary.

This position will serve as the Taproom’s gatekeeper, posted at the front door for the entire shift and may act as intermediary between venue and local law officials; bars admission to undesirables including minors and intoxicated individuals; removes customers who are conducting themselves in a disorderly or inappropriate manner; and reports during shift to the management of the Taproom.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 1 year experience, possess exceptional interpersonal skills with strong problem solving and professionalism core competencies; have strong customer service mindset, service orientation; and thorough knowledge of federal, state and local laws. A PERC card is required. Prior experience in law enforcement, military or similar background is preferred. Bilingual, fluency in both Spanish and English is highly desired.
